This man maybe the half brother of my ancestor, David O. ESSEX [d. 1864 MS]. David had a brother living in Atchison Co., MO at this same time. BELL, HARRISON, JONES, POLING, SMITH, SUTTON, TRIPLETT posted by Wayne L Kuntze on Tuesday, April 22, 1997

I am searching for POLING family members in Clark County at the turn of the century. Henry Lee POLING and Ida A JONES had 5 children from 1880 to 1893:  Martha Ann POLING (who married Elmer Mc_CARTNEY),   Earl J POLING, Virgil HARRISON (who married Lola May SMITH of Lewis Co in 1908),  Clarence Henry POLING (who married Lila Rose BELL), and  Merle Edith POLING, my grandmother. Upon the dissertion of Ida, the family was separated.  Virgil H POLING was adopted by Eliza A TRIPLETT of Lewis Co, Mo. and Merle Edith was adopted by the SUTTON family of Lewis Co. I am interested in finding the death place and date of Ida A POLING as well as any information on the Poling children. Wayne L Kuntze
