KENISTON, KENNISTON posted by Kent E. Kenniston on Saturday, February 15, 2003

Looking for information about the birth of my Great Granduncle, Clay L. KENNISTON (aka KENISTON) who was born in Clark County, MO on 15 June 1859. He was the son of Isaac and Clementine KENNISTON (aka KENISTON). Clay was the youngest of four children at that time. Clay's father, Isaac, may have been a saddler, or painter at the time they lived in Clark County.
If anyone can locate a 1880 Census, Birth Record, or Street Directory with then in it would be greatly appreciated.

OWEN, REID posted by Joyce Cravens on Friday, February 28, 2003

I am searching for my REID family relatives. My Great grandfather's name is William B. REID, b. 1849 in MO. and died in Kahoka about 1924. He was married in Warren Co. IL Feb. 20 1873 to Sarah (OWEN) REID b. 1852 in IL. They may have lived with their son's family Chris REID who owned a poultry and creamery store in Kahoka in the 1920's. Children of Chris REID were Fern, Fawn, Francis, and Harry. I have found the name of Frances Welch with a Keokuk address and Fawn Fitzgerald living in RFD Arbella, MO. which are probably the married names of two of the daughters. Another document lists Chris as C.C. REID and was also signed by Carrie REID whom I have assumed was his wife. This is all of the information that I have, and I hope it is helpful in finding these ancestors of mine.
Thank you for this opportunity to make this query.
Sincerely,
Joyce Cravens
Carriere, MS
